The new identity of the female Thor has been revealed!

The woman proving herself worthy enough to wield Mjolnir and become the new “Thor” is none other than Odinson’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Dr. Jane Foster (who you may know in the movies is played by Natalie Portman).
The original Thor (calling himself “The Odinson”) lost his powers and all godliness given to him by wielding the mighty magical hammer Mjolnir, after an event which meant he was no longer divined as being worthy to wield it.
It appears as though wielding the power of a God does not make Jane Foster any less mortal, as a twist reveals she is dying of terminal breast cancer. Even though her fate is apparently sealed, she continues to fight on – sacrificing herself for Earth because the world needs a God that will fight for it. The world needs a Thor.
Marvel says this is just the beginning with our new Thor and she won’t be disappearing any time soon.
Could we ever see the MCU’s Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) as the new Thor in future? Never say never.
