This one came out of left-field but all the writers jumped on it. What would Jemaine do with the Dark Knight? Now that could be interesting and dark!

Joker: Johnny Depp

Having bought just the right amount of charismatic crazy to roles such as Sweeny Todd  and Jack Sparrow, Depp seems like he’d make a very interesting Joker.

Catwoman: Emilia Clarke

Your new girl-crush starts right now, if it hasn’t already. She’s already proven how captivating and kick-ass she can be on the small screen; Emilia seems like the purrfect pick for Catwoman.

Storm: Lupita Nyong’o

Do you know how hard is it to find a pic of Lupita where she’s not grinning? We’d *love* to see her in a kick-ass role like Storm. Also nominated for Storm: Jessica Williams and Tatiana Maslany

Yes, thank you, I’ll take two. And yes, this nomination came with a lot of Bomer/boner jokes, so double points.

This one went down to a two-way tie between Clancy Brown and Bryan Cranston – can you imagine the voice of Mr Krabbs as Lex? Also nominated were Peter Sarsgaard and Christoph Waltz.

Spiderman: Donald Glover

He acts, he writes, he raps, he has a bangin’ body, and Donald Glover is So Hot Right now. Hey, any guy that picks his stage name from a Wu-Tang Clan name generator deserves to be a superhero, right?

Wonder Woman: Gwendoline Christie

Christie is a game-changer. Not only is she physically built like an Amazonian, she’s proven in Game of Thrones to be able to kick more ass and show more loyalty than almost any other character. She’s gritty and dominating, yet vulnerable and fallible. Yes, yes, y’all!

The Flash: Matt Smith

 

Okay, yes, technically this is not a photoshop of Matt Smith as The Flash. But this guy was Cake Oven writer’s easy pick for the Barry version of Flash.
