In an amazing piece of casting news, Director Paul Feig (Brides Maids, SPY) has announced the new receptionist for his upcoming Ghostbusters reboot via Twitter:

Thor himself (Chris Hemsworth) has been cast as the new Janine Melnitz, the former receptionist for the Ghostbusters. Previously played by Annie Potts, Melnitz was the sassy receptionist and confidante for the Ghostbusters team.
With Paul Feig directing a film that involves an All-Female team consisting of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, it’s great to see him continuing to flip the roles by casting Hemsworth into the role made famous by Potts.
Let’s just hope he bring the sass like our original Janine!
