Supergirl gets a very super introduction in this 6 minute preview.
It looks like this new television series is meant to be quite fun! Not at all dark like Nolan films or the ‘Arrow-verse’ but a series with a lot more heart that doesn’t takes itself too seriously.
The CBS televison series follows 24 year-old Kara Zor-El (Superman’s cousin), who was taken in by the Danvers family when she was 12 after being sent away from Krypton, must learn to embrace her powers after previously hiding them. The Danvers teach her to be careful with her powers, until she has to reveal them during an unexpected disaster, setting her on her journey of heroism.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist and starts November 2015 on CBS.
