Rejoice – Full House coming back soon! The reboot, called Fuller House because of course it is, will pick up 20 years after the original series and I CAN NOT WAIT.
But let’s face it, even the sweetest of memories can fade with the passage of time. That’s why Slate put together this handy recap of everything that every happened in Full House.
Despite watching the show religiously, the recap didn’t ring any bells (when did they get a dog?).
Here’s everything I remember about Full House.
  • The Golden Gate Bridge
  • DJ’s eating disorder is cured by her dad telling her that she’ll always look beautiful, no matter what.
  • How big the house looked. It’s not THAT full, guys.
  • I think there’s a middle child??
  • How rude!

  • The crazy furiture in Michelle and the middle child’s bedroom. Their desks had PENCILS for LEGS, it looked magical.
  • That time they reconcreted the driveway, except the concrete truck was at the top of the driveway, not on the road. I don’t remember how this was resolved. Probably there was a concrete truck in the kitchen for three seasons.
  • That episode where they bring on the second Olsen twin as Michelle’s “conscious”. What.
  • The improbability of Uncle Jesse’s band.

  • The next door neighbour pierced the middle child’s ears, which she successfully hid for most of an episode with Princess Leia hair.
  • I think they went to Disneyland, but that might have been Everyone Loves Raymond?
  • Everyone hates DJ’s best friend and makes no attempt to hide this from either girl. (How rude!)
  • Baby twins in the attic???
  • Overalls.

  • Ian Witham says:

How about the one where DJ and Michelle got on the wrong airplane by themselves, which as it happened was going to Auckland, but due to the attendant’s accent they thought they were only going to “Oakland”. All swiftly resolved somehow?

I too used to watch Full House religiously as a child, but the only thing I remember now is that once they were trying to get to Oakland, California but misheard the airport announcer’s accent and ended up on a flight to AUCKLAND. Hilarity ensued! Living in NZ was still a long way off, but that always stuck with me. Maybe that’s what convinced my parents to make the move. Good on ya Full House!
