Yes you read that right. For $40 you can get your daily fix of kitten cuddles at your office. This may be the first time I’ve ever wished I lived in Australia. You can find out more details here
While there is no mention of a NZ service in the pipeline, the SPCA does workplace visits with puppies and/or kittens for a small donation – we did it last year and it was hands down the best day I’ve ever had at work. If you look hard enough through the internets you can find studies that claim animals in the workplace increase productivity, just in case your boss needs a bit more convincing than mine did!
