With a team filled with females that have all probably or could probably kill the immortal Wolverine, Marvel has announced at Mashable that an all-female Avengers team called the A-Force will be coming to comics in May to coincide with their next ‘Secret Wars’ event.

Co-written by (Ms. Marvel) and (Angela: Asgard’s Assassin) with artwork by (New Thor), Wilson has said they’ve “purposefully assembled a team composed of very different characters–from disparate parts of the Marvel Universe, with very different power sets, identities and ideologies.”
Introducing the character Singularity, a new hero that’s “not a flesh and blood human being, but a cosmological event that gains self-consciousness.”, co-writer Wilson goes on to explain that the team will “all have to come together to answer some big questions: What would you sacrifice to succeed?
