Okay so I sing in the shower a little. Sometimes loud, but mostly to myself however I sing in the car A LOT – especially when there is more than an hour of driving to be done.
Music in the car is like petrol. Your roadtrip playlist is possibly one of the most important things to pack as it will set the tone for the entire trip; both to your destination and for your first day and a bit there.
You don’t want to get too crazy and loud right from the beginning, we need to plan these things out including making allowance for scheduled stops. It would be considered the height of rudeness to pull into the Hudertwaser toilets at Kawakawa just as Meatloaf was about to break out the real rock opera in “Paradise By The Dashboard Lights” only for you to turn the car off and leave your passengers hanging. That my friends, is a walk to Paihia offence that one.
So plan your travel path and plan your playlist time accordingly. And always wear your seatbelt.
